Who were good newbs and bad newbs?

i know this subject has come up before, but i just wanted to bring it back up. I nominate Testmeet as being the best newb right out the gate. I remember beating his @$$ on system link over at my house a couple times and then he got online, and we all know what happened from there. Next would definitely have to be Merlin Ninja. i remember him just hosting rooms all day long, sometimes winning and sometimes losing. but he took it all in stride and then all of a sudden he just turned into a beast. out of all the new people that are playing right now i cant think of any in my head that stand out as being good, if a newb kills me with a dagger special i dont get mad, i just know that at least they figured out one move finally...lol.. it wouldve been nice to just to start all over with the game and see what wouldve happened. who wouldve been the best if we all started over again.... imagine being a newb again? but hopefully that "Meteor Blade" kicks @$$ and we can all be newbs again..... and then we will have a brand new message board to talk trash and BS on again...

my nominations for being the worse newbs are stealthy robin, darkside, and ryan52online. these guys just brought the worst out of people. usually when i went into a challeng ring and these idiots were in there i would just take my mic out for the simple fact i didnt even want to deal with the bs they were saying. i also consider them to be the worst cuz they all started off cheap, and then thinking that they are great players because of it. to be good with the feather blade you have to know more then how to glitch it. and to be considered good with the flame of heaven you are going to have to be more then a gash master, and the hammer you got to be able to do something other then hang out by the wall and hope your opponent is dumb enough to walk into the same wall attack over and over again. and my third and final reason they are the worst newbs is because they all knew how to get someone blood boiling over the mic. I remember when stealthyrobin and plasticlockjaw went at it over the mic, and plasticlockjaw just started screaming into his mic. i literally threw my ear piece off, just to get some peace and quiet. But i guess that is just all part of the xbox live experience...... either way its funny when you look back on it....

I agree with you for worst newbs. For best newbs i would nominate Taintless Biggs. He started off with some good instincts: patient, defensive, and had some decent combos - but he just couldn't do that STAB! I know you and I've talked about this mustang. He'd get through the combo and we'd be standing there like "STAB ME!!!!!" I taught him that stab and when to do it and he's become a little hellian now. The next time you play him, you'll notice the difference. I would almost say that he is as good as i was coming out.

but i taught you how to stab someone, though... that is what separated you from being a newb with the feather blade, to be a good newb with the feather blade

but i will look out for the good ole TaintlessBiggs and see what he has got to offer..... Maybe now he might get into the challeng ring a little bit more

yeah i learned to stab before i came out of the gate. and he just learned to stab and has perfected it already. i even saw him doing the glitch. he didn't do it to anyone. we were in a challenge ring and i was showing him combos where to stab someone and he just started doing it. i just said "Stay away from that $hi+"

but yeah he's been in challenge rings. he's even hosted some. i'll get on today and start a challenge ring and if he gets on, i'll invite him.
