Calling all artists and Monkeyball enthusiasts, we want your fan art! With the arrival of the new monkeyballworld.com website, we are in dire need of monkey themed fan art. Don't be ashamed, we know you've been holding out on some amazing monkey art. Now is the time to pick up the banana, erm, pen and submit your art today...
If you’re among the first 10 people to e-mail in your art, it will automatically be posted! Read over our guidelines and instructions to find out how and where to send it.
Guidelines
• Do not write your name on the artwork. By law, we cannot post your full name on our Web site. If you do add it, we will need to Photoshop it out, so please just don’t include it. If you have a copyright with a nickname or other, that is okay.
• Make sure pencil drawings are dark enough. Often times a light pencil drawing does not scan well or show up clearly on the Internet. If you want to use pencil, please just make the lines a bit thicker and darker than usual.
• A note about lined paper. If the lines on the paper are dark, they can be very dominant once the picture is scanned, which detracts from your great art! We suggest you use the lightest lines possible, if lined paper is your favorite medium.
• Variations on Monkey characters (i.e., human-form characters). Though your imagination and creativity are great, we don’t post renderings here that are vastly different from the original Super Monkey Ball characters.
• No thievery. Please respect the hard work that goes into creating a great piece of art.
