where's the co-op? I assumed it was online co-op? is it split screen? system link?

welcome to the community. Coop is implied in the 2vs2 abd 4vs4 matches online, where you get randomly matched with strangers against other strangers, where teamwork is implied by your actions and not your words, since everyone can hear you and the only real way you have of telling your friends and foes apart is by your targetting reticle.

A lot of people are complaining about the online portion of the game as of right now, how it is lacking in a lot of things, especially compared to chromehounds, another game developped by From Software.

is there any word whether they're improving the online aspect of the game?

it would be really nice to at least have chat rooms so people can meet up with friends and hopefully do the missions in co-op mode.

it should be the same as creating a multiplayer match, only you get choose the mission and anyone who joins would be in the mission as well.
