This is to ReaperOfTheLost: I played you on a Xbox Live ranked 1v1 game last night (you were hosting) and you disconnected after I was about to kill you.

What I saw: You were in the air shooting, you suddenly dropped like a rock and then the game abruptly ended with no kills and a DRAW.

Don't you know I had less AP than you and one more grenade shot would have killed me? Disconnecting to get a draw is lame, so many of you higher ranked players do that.

I've lost 80% of the ranked games I play cos I'm not that good yet, but almost every ranked game I or my team have won against a 18500 or higher ranked player, the game ends in a draw.

The ranked game system is broken. I'm not angry, I just want the other players who are new to the game to be aware of this.

Yea,

You'll get used to it.

In my oppinion ... if people are willing to sacrifice a bit of pride and dignity for a few points in a game ... They can go ahead ... it isn't any skin of my back.

The "draw" system is an improvement compared to what I used to deal with in Halo ... so ... let them Draw away ...

Rank doesn't prove anything ... I'll give them props when they own my face in.

I hope soon they do like other games. When a player drops in a ranked match their rank drops as well.

That would make sense. I'm sure people will boo-hoo in cases of incidental disconnection, but unless your broadband connection absolutely sucks, that shouldn't even be an issue in 1v1 battles.

This happened to me, but it was really strange, I was fighting in a 1 on 1 against another person, and I lost, but when the next screen showed, I had gotten a Draw instead of a Loss.

People who do that should get banned from the game for awhile, and their score reset. There is no reason for that kind of behavior. I really hope Sega lets From know about this and take the necessary actions against users who do that.

this is one of the many reasons i love my PS3, if you do that, the game doesn't end in a draw, whoever disconnects lose's. The only draw back is if you D/C on accident your kinda screwed but better than having to deal with the cheaters who only gain rank cuz they know how to shut off thier system.
Also there are No Draws in PS3 land
