That means no madden, zelda, or halo. It would come with a joystick instead of a gamepad. I know I sure as heck would... I think the closest thing to that is the neogeo. Personally id rather play an arcade shooter or fighter over the newest halo..
YES!
Because were there are arcades...There is SEGA!

Think your idea has been put to use already in the form of Jakks Pacific TV Games :)

Tons of exclusive. Fighting games that never make it to the consoles. Twilight Princess is way overrated.

Well, you can actually do this, find an arcade dealership near by and go buy a NAOMI machine and a few Gd-r's.

I already did that when I bought a Neo-Geo some odd years ago.
But I would do it again If...
it would be supported with more than the 5 or 6 games that most recent arcade hardware seems to get supported with now. Seems like the last piece of hardware to really get a ton of games (that were any good) were the NAOMI's.
Theres a handful of Atomiswave games that I wouldn't mind having. But I don't think I want them enough to warrant the cost.

That would depend on what arcade games it would have in its line-up.

No... However I'd buy a whole arcade machine. I feel the point of arcade games of today is to give you a unique experience you cannot get at home (or in some cases cannot get the same quality controller at home - this is more aimed at games that use something other than a stick and some buttons)

I'd buy it yesterday!!1 :D
But seriously. I'd buy it too. 8) I use MAME and I have a number of ROMS. The only problem is the so-called "legal" issue that we all know about regarding that kind of thing. But if the Roms were available to buy - I'd believe I'd buy them.
I've said it once and I'll say it again. SEGA should do what Taito did with it's Taito Legends game/s.
Wait. Are we talking about retro arcade games or more modern arcade games.... or both? :?
Either way I'd still buy it.... If it wasn't too expensive of course.

Well, the original Zelda was like an arcade game.
But YES! I would so buy that, unless it were PS3 cost, then maybe not.

No because the arcade games I value most require more than a joystick
After Burner Climax
Pump it Up NX2
Dance Freaks
Sega R360
Sega UFO Stomper
other titles blah blah blah etc etc etc
my point is arcade games of today require more than just a joystick to have a hook that you cannot get from something a console can do.

If I'm guaranteed a new game from AM2 each year then of-course I will buy one.
