A full squad doing nothing but CPU matches...
At least if SneaKe did it he was alone and didn't drag others into the pool of boredom lol
My God I'd hate to be in that squad... I'd be pulling my teeth out just to stay awake.

Whats it matter if he wants valor medals. Some people want the achivements. I'm not saying I agree with him but if he wants to set up a squad whith like minded people he can. Him getting valor medals and achivements will in no way affect how you play or how your games will come out.

Yeah, that's why I stopped playing this game a while back... everyone just wanted to grind CPU to get the SWs to show for their achievements.
Then they all left to play PSU.

My god that would take FOREVER. You just don't get enough capture points to make it worth it... 28 at a time or whatever is lame.
Sure there's times where you're going to need/have to play the CPU, but to only do that would just be boring.
Besides nothing compares to playing real people, the fights are just so much more intense.

I couldn't agree more, since I don't really care about achievement whoring.
If I wanted to grind, I'd go play WoW or EQ.
Now I have no squad. Sigh.

Yeah. At 4am when your the only one on 8) I think that going for valor medals at this point would take to long. Theres just not enough competion for ppl matches.

SneaKe would never play a CPU. It is unfair and ruins the game.

Not interested in boosting to it, but how do you get the valor medals ? Is it by reaching level 100 for a particular RT ?

Yep...
...The majority of all people grind/boost for it.
There are some, though rare exceptions, who do have the medals from openly fighting real human opponents however.
Note: These are RARE.

Well, for the HVG valor medal I found it was better to 'grind' than to play...
It would seem that many found a HVG taking down their base from 1000+ clicks was a cheap tactic... [note: I used the passed tense cause it probably ain't happening much any more due to the patch]
Sure, 'dialing' a base without visual confirmation is lame... But I even got grief for maps where their base was TOTALLY exposed, and they chose to double/triple team my soldier squad mates (usually in vain, too).
However, since the only way to get HVG points is by hitting the base, and since the further away you are the higher the points awarded, it is by design that the HVG is going to try to take bases from 1000 clicks (or more)...
So, my $0.02 worth, grind the HVG one, and 'fight' for the rest.
And, with the current post-patch HVG sabotage, you may be better off using sniper cannons instead. You still get the HVG points for shooting the base, but it will probably take you less time... MSK-SC200 w/APFSDS-TN180 can take one down with 74 rounds from 1000 clicks, which is exactly the load-out of 4 cannons, so extended ammo or some extra firepower may be needed for base defenses or scaring off enemy scouts.
Also note that you only need to land 64 of those into the base from 1000 clicks to obtain your max of 3000 HVG points, so you can let your squad mates take down the hounds (or even loose the mission) once you have taken your 64 shots.
