Yeah, as far as i'm aware, it is absolutely not possible to control the tanks, AVC's, and turrets (i'm assuming that's what you're referring to when you say 'base guards') in any way shape or form. I would chalk up your first hand account of him controlling them to either bad drugs, or bad pepperoni.

u can only tell your allies what grid to go to but u cant make them go there just press right on the d pad and under command tell them to move to anywere on the grid but it probably wont work 4 any non-hound
