The House of the Dead or Carn Evil?

I've grown up with the SEGA arcades, and HOTD is my preferred light gun shooter.

the ole' days, never played or had even seen CarnEvil though. Just had a quick look on youtube and it looks really old but could be fun to play.

As much as I love HOTD series, but CarnEvil has to be the twisted and the sickest game of them all. Heck I am a huge fan of the series (if anyone can see in my Deviantart account) and I'm hoping Midway games (or WB games) can stop focusing on Mortal Kombat and try to focus on making a remake. Or make it into a movie or anime (buts thats IMO).

CarnEvil holds a special place in my heart that HOTD just can't quite grasp as well.
