I'm looking for Iron Man PC support.

After installing the program (twice) and attempting to start it; I get the following error:

"Please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application"

Well, the box only came with 1 disk. It's in the 1 drive that I have. I'm attempting to start the game both from that disk and from the desktop icon to no avail. Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

I had the same issues initially and had to update the firmware on DVD Drive before it would work. I have an NEC ND-3550A (cheapo from Wal-Mart). Dunno if it will help you guys or not but it is what worked for me.

I already have the latest firmware update for both DVD drives. Both my Sony DRU-700A DVD/RW and Memorex DVD Reader but still having problems. I was able to get a refund. I was getting a "Please insert correct CD" type error. It didn't even say DVD but to insert correct CD.

Why couldn't you port it from the 360 instead of the PS2? I returned the PC version that didn't work and exchanged it for the PSP version. As soon as I started to play, the character wanted to keep pulling to the right. I tried it on 2 PSP's and had the same effect. Now I have to return that one as well. I can tell you right now I will NOT be purchasing the HULK game when it comes out.

I suggest returning the game and just buying the download right off of gamestop no disk involved

Oh well. I've already returned both the PC and the PSP version. Even if I could get the game going for the PC I don't think I'm going to get it anyway. The graphics are just too bad for the PC version. Nothing gained nothing lost I suppose. AoC came out so I'm sure I will be playing that for a while. Good luck folks. :)

Patch forthcomming?

When is the user interface going to be cleaned up and all the sub options working properly... Saving key map, Auto save, inconsistancy of the user interface options, higher resolutions?

Man, you guys rushed this to the shelves and it shows. You're going to lose allot of customers if this keeps up.

I really don't understand this, why doesn't SEGA do something about the Faulty DVD-ROMS?

It's obvious they are aware of the Problem, question is are they going to do anything about it??

I was going to post a query on the Please insert correct dvd? Thread but the Admins Locked so no-one else could, why? I didn't see anyone starting any verbal fights...

My system is compatable but like everyone else but I get the same stupid notice asking me to insert the correct DVD

At this point I don't know what else to do other than TRY to return the Game to Best Buy where I bought it and hope that will accept it!

Anyone else have suggestions?

Hi all,

Sorry an announcement's been a bit long in coming, but there is good news.

We've isolated the cause of the "No CD-ROM in drive" error (it's a problem with certain SCSI drives) and it's being addressed with a patch. In fact, this patch is already in the final stages of testing and will be released very soon.

It will be available in the DOWNLOADS section at help.sega.com.

If you have any specific support requests, please submit a ticket to our help desk at the same url, help.sega.com.

Thanks,
Max at SEGA

Nah, if I bought a game and it didn't work I'd be upset too!

But if I heard there was a fix on the way I'd be a little less upset after that ;p

I think 3 weeks for a patch was really fast while everyone else complained that SEGA was doing nothing for the game whatsoever.

Max, I just bought this game and get this error. The support site does not work, I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getTerritoryName() on a non-object in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/themes/client_default/segawest/classes/MyTemplate.class.php on line 79

So the website is down and is not working and I cannot get the download. This is a terrible way to start off a new game. Hope you guys can get this fixed. Why was this not more thouroughly tested? So many seem to have this issue.

Let me know, thanks!
