Well I was already a huge fan of Clover, They made some of the best games of last Gen and I'm glad they have build a good relationship with Sega. my two favourite Japanese developers togeather can't be a bad thing.

I'm going to call a Sega buy out of Platinum in the next 3 years, mark my words.

I think Sega would be crazy not to make a bid for them, Sega are actually looking for new studios. Platinum would be mad to deny them, they will probably get lots of offers from other publishers but they will want;
A) a publisher based in Tokyo which Sega is and
B) A publisher that gives them the freedom to take risks, which Sega also is.

Capcom were always my second favourite developer and Clover was the heart of Capcom, Capcom put all of their very best developers into one studio (clover) and they made some of the best games Capcom have ever seen. Problem is Capcom burnt them and shut them down so they left and took A LOT of talent with them.

I'm not worried about Capcoms existing series like RE, Street Fighter and so on... But I'm a little worried about Capcom not being able to come up with new games HALF as unique and awesome as they did when Clover was about.

Although I'm happy they shacked up with Sega and not another publisher, they fit the 'Sega style' perfectly.

The game is being produced by the same guy who created Devil May Cry so I don't see why you'd be shocked that it looks like DMC. So far we have only seen a CGI teaser trailer so I'm not sure why you are writing it off as not creative already.

Actually, according to Sega Nerds (right...?), you control a witch, and you can cast spells and shoot things and stuff.

I know my reply is late, but thanks for the trailer. I am curious because the creator of Devil May Cry is directing this game for Sega.
