Sorry, the only one I can think off the top of my head is Dragonball Z. They made a new one called Burst Limit. I heard its good. But i doubt thats what your looking for.

Depends on the genre. As anime games are not a single genre. I don't usually play anime games. I tend to stick to the games that are actually were originally games to begin with. So I don't know a whole alot just a couple decent ones.

Decent RPGs (not a type of game I'm into):
- Sailormoon: Another Story (SNES)

Decent beat-em ups:
- Sailormoon (Genesis)

Decent fighters:
- Sailormoon SuperS (SNES)

Or could it be that the anime influenced cutscenes are better then ever? *sarcasm*It's basically the PSP games with better character models and a lot of repetitive generic cutscene animations, it's literally a step back from Budokai 3.

How is oldschool a step back?They copied Budokai 3, dumbed down the fighting system, made special attacks less unique for each character, made cutscenes less unique for each character, interrupt you with said generic cutscene at seemingly random points during gameplay, but made better character models.

That's just it SpongeAlex. There aren't any good ones. Anime games are almost exactly like american video games based on movies/tv series. Cheap cash in's that they don't bother to put any real effort into.

I've seen a few "meh" fighters but they probably would only seriously interest you if you are a fan of said series.

How is oldschool a step back?
There isn't a jump button anymore...so you can't just take the battles into the air,someone has to knock you up there.I was disappointed by the fact that I expected a new gaming experience,but all I got was a trip back to a shined-up Budokai

Liking a Japanese character doesn't automatically make you a weeaboo.

People called you a weeaboo because you wanted games just because they were based on anime, in other words we could recommend you a title that sucks (not mentioning that the game is horrible) and then laugh if you ever got it.

Weeaboos are people who get things just because they're Japanese, always prefer Japanese voice acting (even if its horrible), and wishes to be Japanese.
