What ever Happened to Ryan Drummond and David Humphrey(not that the current voices of sonic and shadow are bad but it doesn't fit shadow. we want the original voices from sonic adventure 2. did they fire them i hope not? if so sega better give those jobs back.

Sega of America doesn't control the voice acting... or so I think... chances of them comming back are slim.

Their contract expired, and Sega decided to change the VA's to the Sonic X voice cast to keep the continuity. Its that simple, no big conspiracy theory. 4Kids didn't have anything to do with the voice change, it was Yuji Naka who changed the voices, and the voice actors were hired independant of 4Kids. And most of the newer voices have no relation to 4Kids at all.

Where did you get this information? Seriously, it sheds some light on the situation, and though it may not be exactly what I want to hear, I'm relieved to hear something.

What irks me the most is that, although Sega (or at least SoA) may not have control over situation, whoever does hasn't responded in any way. They haven't defended their actions, they haven't sided with some fans, they haven't acknowledged that there are any complaints - they've basically ignored those concerned and left us all in the dark. I want to hear what they have to say! I've heard us, so why don't we hear them?

I hope I don't come across as :):):):) over the matter or unapproachable in any way, this is just something that I feel I must know. Sorry if I've made anyone angry!

That's because so few people complain about the voice acting. They just have loud annoying voices.

Really? I actually thought there was a good portion of fans who publicly voiced their dissent. I guess not.

There is allot, but not when compared to the entire fanbase.

Kinda like the SatAM/Archie fans compared to the main series fans, right?
