Hey gang, some of the Mods thought it may be a good idea to develop an Introduction thread for the new users to introduce themselves to the Forums, so why not? :razz:

Basically, I'm a computer geek, from Canada, living in the USA, really hyped about weather, technology, and video games, I'm pretty good at programming (I know advanced HTML, beginner PHP, lots of MS-DOS/Windows commands, advanced Visual Basic, about it), and Sonic...well, my history with that game goes a ways back. On my 3rd birthday, I got a Sega Genesis and some games...included were Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic and Knuckles. To this day, I still enjoy Sonic more than any other game. Of course, I still like some Mario games, Halo (even though I don't play it much), Grand Theft Auto, Animal Crossing, Starfox, and Pokémon.

Hello, citizens of the Random Forum. I figured I would be polite and take a moment of my precious time to greet you formally.

My name is Rhonda. I am a devout Catholic and I like to meet new people. Smile The Lord is my shepherd. However, I also love Sonic almost as much as Him. I had a traumatic childhood and during that whole period of my life, Sonic was my savior. I had a Genesis that I had taken from one of my rich evil cousins with Sonic the Hedgehog... and it offered me an escape from my life. I would lay awake at night hoping that somehow Sonic and his friends would escape from the cold glass and metal prison of my television and hug me and make me feel all better. However, this never happened. Instead, I immersed myself in his world, since he could not immerse himself in mine. I played in the forest nearly every day... it was my Green Hill Zone. I ate chili dogs religiously... when my family could afford to buy hot dogs and ground beef. I even found a fox in the forest one day and tried to make friends with it. But instead, it bit me and it was also rabid. This was when I learned life isn't everything that it seems and it turned me into a bitter person.
But nowadays my life has turned around. I am on the fast track to success. I am 29 years old and in cosmetology school! This is me.

Um, I own every game console currently on the market. Both handheld and console. Even though my PSP is kinda broken.

I'd list every game I love but I'll just list my top two. Bioshock and Donkey Kong Country.

Loved Sonic since I was a wee kid. Fell in love with the series when I first played Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

I'm turning 17 soon... and I am going to have a fun party. The end.

P.S. I love the Venture Brothers to death.
P.S.S. I also love Star Wars (Only the classic trilogy, thanks.) And drawing/writing. I don't make fan characters for fan fiction though... Just working on a personal project of mine.

I'm suprised I've never signed up here. I am a long time Sega fan. I played Chu Chu Rocket back in the day, which introduced me to online gaming. I also played PSO, Alien front online, NFK2k1.. I was hooked to online gaming thanks to that one day on 9.9.99 when I got my first console. ^-^ I played PSO on the xbox (Gamertag at the time was "Cutie Pie".. so was my characters name). I now play PSU actively, under the gamertag Pwincess. Nice too meet everyone.

Im from the Chromehounds forum but couldn't recover my original username though a fix is hopefully being worked on. The CH guys should still recognise me though....havn't exactly changed my name much.

Im 24 with a young family, 2 kids and a missis. I mainly play Chromehounds but my gaming is all over the place between family life and working shifts.
