Though the action is better and detailed including the personalities of the extra characters than in the anime, the love story has blown out of proportion. Come on, they are at War, not in some High School. That Alicia. Its funny how she could think of those cudly lovie dovie thing after killing a lot of people.

I feel like it's in sort of a middle ground between the game and the anime w/r/t stupid romcom tropes, though like the anime, they play up Faldio for a stereotypical love triangle. Whatever; no one cares.

The game, manga, and anime all have their strengths and weaknesses.[/tautology] I think the biggest problem I have with the manga and anime, though, is the pacing, but at least while the manga sacrifices coherency for narrative momentum, I prefer that to the anime's incomprehensibly slow progression and lack of anything ever happening, ever.

If the internet would scanalate the other volumes of the manga, I might be able to communicate a more informed opinion. Please keep my ignorance in mind!

It's funny because it's true if you try to put the game in real life. Again, it's the same for just about any "cartoony" game or anime. I don't think any real girl will do a cute laugh after killing someone unless she's psychotic. xD

I'm not saying games and anime shouldn't do stuff like this. It does give the characters a lot more personality after all. :)

Ok i gotcha i see why its funny now :D. I will read the manga if they make one for VC2 though just seems like it will be better than vc1 as a manga.
