why are hover chassis sooooo c**p. ive been useing one to try and get the medal and unless its a very open map like a desert or something there useless and the are weaker nad have less load than weels so in my opinion they should be faster or something to make up for it rather than just going over water thats pathetic

well it took me less than 2 days to get the 50 missions on weeles and ive been trying to the the medal for 50 missions of hovers for nealy a week now and ive got nothing but a huge repaire bill

Hovers are good, as long as you don't get shot at, or go anywhere near ACV's...

When going for my hover, well... I used a pit, gen, legs, and 4 MGs and just kept base rushing. 5 maps a day on average every morning before work (back when I had time to play in the morning) and eventually I got it. All I need is quad now, and man that will be slow going!

Quad-sniper, a.i. only. Snipe the base, get quad medal and HVG pts at the same time. Mind-numbing but effective. (thanks for the tips Asher)

look at my hovers or wheels posts. From's patches kept the hovers from being too good you should say, I wish I had realised the usefullness of hovers before the patch so I could have wielded true power.

in retrospect, they did, actually. treads and wheels got alot faster, and since lots of people use treads, hovers would have had a much easier time.

Two things.

1. Wheels lost their uber speed after the second patch.

2. Treads sucked horribly before the patch, you had to be crazy to use treads.

you may be right, but Wheels never were much of a threat since their bad turning and rotation. no matter what speed somthing goes, if it has bad turning, keeping a bead on it with Machine guns is easy.

what i did for my hover medal was rolled with another squad member against CPUs and let them get both kills or destroy base or w/e. strap on a c-sal kar and a saqr rotor to your ghazal hovers run around, fly and have fun. this way your friend gets good points and u get your medals

Very effective scout build I have, can take down a base or kill a HOUND on-on-one of it has to.

Ghazal Hovers, Brooke pit, Nobili Gen on top of the pit, Arm space in front of the pit, below that 4 AR100's, and shield it the whole way 'round with high CE defense shields. It can :):):):), especially against builds with guns mounted high. Nicknamed the chihuahua because I'd get on people's legs and RRRape them to death.

i agree hovers suck they have slow accl. and go annoyingly slower on water than on land which is stu pid

i dont rlly think that there is ANY topic in the past 2 years that has not been covered more than once... so they have an interest in it, let them read learn and move on... no need to spam up the forumz.

I used a Labua, Brooke, and two Matars. Didn't have too much trouble.

^ I used virtually the same, but 2 Falchion cannons (may possibly have been one of the round Sal Kar hovers, I don't remember exactly)

For me this was the most effective hover, although I would guess a quad HEAT rocket hover would work pretty well and wouldn't stop at all, although it would need a gennie so be a little slower

yeah i realize that but still when u click on a thread and go to respond its nice to know that its relevant... and honestly i wasnt complaining bout it that much till dou*che bag over here started yellin at me for sayin taht a necro thread almost got me.
