Oh, okay. I was wondering because on my file, there's only one mission that I haven't been able to beat, and it's because vehicle boosting is unresponsive for some reason. What's weirder is that this glitch exists randomly in some versions of the game and I haven't been able to figure out which ones. I guess I'll ask Blaze about it.
i only use them when needed. i try not to use them because i hate thier controls
What do you mean "avoid them"? What about mandatory vehicle sections like the hoverboat in Kingdom Valley? Because I'm pretty sure you can boost there.

Okay here's what you do. You have to go to one of the fountains in Castle Town (I think it's Fountain of the Priest) found at the end of the road where the gate to the Forest is. When you get there, you have to use Chaos Spear to light four candles around the fountain and the Scepter of Darkness will appear. After that, you will be able to access the portal to Wave Ocean on the other side of town. Hope that helps.
