Actor and producer James Gandolfini has passed away suddenly of a suspected heart attack in Italy. He was 51.

According to Deadline, the New York-based actor was on vacation in Italy when he suffered a massive heart attack. Gandolfini is survived by his wife, son and newborn daughter.

Gandolfini will be best remembered for his role as tortured tough-guy Tony Soprano on the hit HBO series The Sopranos, which ran from 1999-2007 and won Gandolfini three Emmy Awards from six nominations. Since The Sopranos bowed out, Gandolfini took on supporting roles in a number of diverse feature films, including political satire In the Loop, thriller remake The Taking of Pelham 123, and the critically acclaimed Zero Dark Thirty, which saw Gandolfini turn in a particularly memorable performance as Leon Panetta. The actor also lent his voice to a particularly gentle role in 2009's Where the Wild Things Are.

I've purchased some vintage SEGA hardware the past month. The Last Battle was one of the games I bought. It's the American version of Hokuto no Ken (which translates to The Last Battle), which is the story of Aarzak and you have to do stuff like PUNCH and KICK. Playing it again after all these years, I realize it's the best game I've ever played. It has everything you want from a game: non-linearity, platforming, no voice acting, and RPG elements. It's difficult, which is one reason I didn't enjoy it as a child--Nintendo Power convinced me that difficult games were evil, I was young then--, but now that I'm a man (like Aarzak!), I enjoy the challenge. Plus, having seen the live action western adaptation of The Last Battle, called Fist of the North Star for some reason (great movie by the way!), I now appreciate the epic dialog.

It really is a great game though. In fact, playing it, I realize I don't really care for games anymore. Modern games are just so banal. Give me Last Battle or, as Aarzak says in the original magna, "I'll send your karma to hell!"

Anyway, because of that, I realize that the modern generations of gaming are not for me.

This is the post where I die! Farewell! Merlina!

(This is in the Nintendo forum because there's no SEGA Mega Drive forum and since SEGA is all buddy buddy with Nintendo now, I figure this is the most appropriate to place to post it.)

I then login and get into a ship on my charcter but after about 10 seconds of running around my game closes. On some happening it gives me the np 1013 error but other times it just closes out as if I tabbed out but the game isn't up anymore however if I check my task manager the games still running. Additionally this only started happening today when I reinstalled it due to a previous crash last night. it never gave me issues like this before. I've checked the internet for a way to fix it but nothing works or just doesn't apply to my issue.

You can't play all games you want.... that sure is a fact. But, for instance which games you want to play most?

Leave you comment. As for me, want to play more Sonic games and also Pokιmon games.

There are some other in my list to, but my money is too short. Too short and i live in Brazil.

It's kind of depressive when you want to play but you don't have money or you can't find the games you want to buy.
Also is even more frustrating when you cannot buy the game even if you find it or have money (Region Lock, just thanks). Also, when they don't translate the game to English that's even more annoying.

If anyone identifies, tell me something.

That was very depressive... Years later not much changed, besides some skin for little big planet, new Sonic games (duh) and maybe some Themes.

I wish they could give us more Sonic stuff, like Sonic avatars (Capcom, it's enough, seriously.) a Sonic place in Home and may some Sonic merchandising like T-shirts and stuff for character customization. But it seams that SEGA does care much for the PS3 as wii all know.

- features middle-school-aged kids raising virtual heroes
- produced by Sega's Toshihiro Nagoshi

"Making a new hero-oriented game is really pretty risky. It's as if you're trying to challenge all the heroes already out there on their own turf. That's why, if we're going to do this, than we're going to put our all into it. Also, making a game for children is also one step in raising the gamers of the future, so it's not something we can be lazy with. I think some publishers tackle this genre with tried-and-true hero stories, but I think there's room for games that deal with the themes Hero Bank deals with as well."

Warner Bros. Interactive has come out in support of the Wii U. “We’re a believer [in] the Wii U,” says company president Martin Tremblay.

He is not blind to the console’s sluggish sales, but he is optimistic that it will take a turn. “I think the console has been off to a slow start, but I think they’re going to fix the problem. I don’t think it’s a problem, but it’s more about the content. And I think they showed tons of new content [at E3] that will re-energize the platform.”

In the past couple of months, the Wii U continually saw a loss of faith from the big three publishers. EA’s most notably showed their lack of faith when they announced that their latest Frostbite engine will not be supported on the Wii U. Activision may have released a port of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 at the system’s launch, but when asked about Call of Duty: Ghosts, the next iteration in the Call of Duty franchise, they become incredibly indecisive. Ubisoft had two titles slated to be exclusive to the platform, but the two had gone multiplatform since their initial announcement. One of which was delayed seven months within weeks of its intended release so it can be ported to the other platforms.

Although they have a stake in every platform, Warner Bros. have become the only major publisher who has a Nintendo exclusive title coming this year. Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure will be released later this year on both the Wii U and 3DS. Whether justified or not, Warner Bros. appears to be taking their commitment to Nintendo pretty seriously.

Last week at E3, the excitement, creativity and future of our industry was on display for a global audience.

For us, the future comes in the form of Xbox One, a system designed to be the best place to play games this year and for many years to come. As is our heritage with Xbox, we designed a system that could take full advantage of advances in technology in order to deliver a breakthrough in game play and entertainment. We imagined a new set of benefits such as easier roaming, family sharing, and new ways to try and buy games. We believe in the benefits of a connected, digital future.

Since unveiling our plans for Xbox One, my team and I have heard directly from many of you, read your comments and listened to your feedback. I would like to take the opportunity today to thank you for your assistance in helping us to reshape the future of Xbox One.

You told us how much you loved the flexibility you have today with games delivered on disc. The ability to lend, share, and resell these games at your discretion is of incredible importance to you. Also important to you is the freedom to play offline, for any length of time, anywhere in the world.

So, today I am announcing the following changes to Xbox One and how you can play, share, lend, and resell your games exactly as you do today on Xbox 360. Here is what that means:

An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games – After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360.

Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today – There will be no limitations to using and sharing games, it will work just as it does today on Xbox 360.

In addition to buying a disc from a retailer, you can also download games from Xbox Live on day of release. If you choose to download your games, you will be able to play them offline just like you do today. Xbox One games will be playable on any Xbox One console -- there will be no regional restrictions.

These changes will impact some of the scenarios we previously announced for Xbox One. The sharing of games will work as it does today, you will simply share the disc. Downloaded titles cannot be shared or resold. Also, similar to today, playing disc based games will require that the disc be in the tray.

We appreciate your passion, support and willingness to challenge the assumptions of digital licensing and connectivity. While we believe that the majority of people will play games online and access the cloud for both games and entertainment, we will give consumers the choice of both physical and digital content. We have listened and we have heard loud and clear from your feedback that you want the best of both worlds.

Thank you again for your candid feedback. Our team remains committed to listening, taking feedback and delivering a great product for you later this year.
But let's not forget, Microsoft in the beginning completely disrespected their loyal fanbase and thought they could do anything they'd please.

Even as things have gotten better, I as an Xbox fan am going with PS4 for the next-gen!
