They actually had some pretty bad games on the NES. Anything with a generic sports titles wasn't great, and I can't figure out why they push out Urban Champion.

I dunno, for most of them it was probably just seen as a $100 rombox for their TV.... Since it's supposed to be open to hacking and what not.

All of the publishers seem to expect more. They probably think the game would sell 5 or 6 million copies because well known super heroes are in it.
