Platinum is an independent studio from Sega.

And two, we're in an era where making something amazing by modern standards takes much larger teams than just a dozen people.

Yeah, a lot of us are really hoping the thing with Project Diva F possibly getting a western localization might lead to VALKYRIA CHRONICLES 3 in the west as well as Yakuza 5.
