Does it really have to be a character from the cover? I hope not, because a Kurt or Imca cosplayer would be amazing to see too.
I hope that was the Extra Edition (E2), because that one has a handful of DLC as well as some extra episodes that are exclusive to that release.
I'm pretty sure a bit more effort was put into putting it on the iTunes Store than that thanks to licensing and such. Either way, I bought the soundtrack to support the series as much as I can. And...
By the way, did you guys know that the Valkyria Chronicles III soundtrack is available at the NA iTunes Store? (UK store too!) I know I posted it here before, but you guys might've missed it.
Actually, this is old news too. :P
At least in my opinion, the Vita is totally worth getting. Persona 4 Golden, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, Atelier Totori Plus, Gravity Rush, Uncharted:...
So what do you guys think about that Facebook post on Sega's page gauging how much people want Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F to be localized? You think if that makes it over, then that might give Sega...
I bought Valkyria Chronicles III right when it first got released in Japan. And knowing a fair amount of Japanese, I understood most of the story while I was playing it. I used a wiki (soon the...
The difference with Ni no Kuni is that the art style and animation is by Studio Ghibli, who have a reputation of being pretty much the only Japanese animation company that is known by mainstream...
It's "niche" in the fact that the game's artwork is anime style. Face it, no mainstream Western gamer is going to buy a Valkyria Chronicles game simply because it looks like a "Japanese kids...
The anime is officially streaming on Crackle for anyone who cares.

To be fair, I personally feel that the recent Medal of Honor games actually do put effort into putting actual emotion into their single-player campaigns. I feel that the developers really did make...
Remember that it also costs money to license the voices from the Japanese version of the game. Sometimes it's cheaper to just make an English dub yourself. inb4 English dub vs. Japanese dub flame...
I gotta say CHIYOUMEN, I agree with practically everything you wrote, especially about the story and characters, as well as the awesome quality of the English voice acting. Sega did well in taking...
I didn't really follow this thread, but I personally felt that having Valkyria Chronicles games on the PSP was in general a good idea on Sega's part. Portable games are very popular in Japan, so it's...
You're not alone. Heck, I actually made a poll asking whether people liked Edy or Anisette better, and Ani won by a landslide.
I think Edy's popularity is concentrated in Japan, since they like...
Well, the PSP isn't truely dead yet. I mean, Japan is still developing games for the PSP, and companies like Atlus USA still publishes games for them. So there's a slim chance that we'll still be...

Oh boy, here we go again...
Thank you so much Udon! Pre-ordering this right now.
I'd accept any form of localization of this game too. Heck, even go for the Phantasy Star Portable 2 route and leave the cut-scenes unvoiced, but make an English dub for the anime cut-scenes and the...
The stupid thing about this list is it's full of multi-platform games. If this was a list with only PS3 exclusives, then Valkyria Chronicles would definitely be high up there somewhere.
And I...
You know, I really like how they added new artwork for the characters from the first game. It shows that there was more effort put into this game than just copy and pasting artwork from previous...
Indeed, Selvaria or even Alicia would be the perfect Valkyria Chronicles representation for this game. I'd imagine they'd be the kinds of characters that would switch between rapid fire normal mode...
I think it's natural that most people seem to prefer Anisette over Edy. Tsundere seems to be more of a Japanese thing, not a Western thing.
I always keep at least one unit in my main camp, and that was usually Avan as a Shocktrooper since he has a Leader Point right from the beginning.
