What if the guardians are Sonic's friends' alter-egos? Think of the storybook series (the knights of the round table, the lady of the lake, ect-). But then the "lost world" would be an alternate...

I still think it's impossible to port this game to another platform, it has been specifically thought for Wii-U and its stuff (the 3DS version we know is different).

I speculate that it is some kind of unfinished world made of hexagons.

Same here. At least I was already considering to buy one of the new Nintendo consoles now that they're in their spring period, instead of how I bought the Wii too late.

Seems legit. Xbox 360 and PS3 got a game in 2008 and 2011, the Wii got one in 2010, I guess we'll have to wait one more year, I knew it... the hype fooled me.

I'm starting to doubt about Hunnid P's involvement in any Sonic games, even if he confirmed that, I just don't see it with Iizuka's new direction for Sonic.

I bet Blaze would like Shadow a lot if they got to interact in a game. But yes, she has some attraction for Sonic as showed in Rush and Black Knight.

Writing villains is pretty easy, they're already the most interesting characters.
