Default Star Wars Prequel Trilogy: Why All The Hate?

I personally really like the prequel trilogy of Star Wars. I like it just as much, if not more than the original films. But one thing has always confused me and that is why so many people don't like these movies. I can understand some of the acting is wooden, mostly with Hayden Christensen, but I really like the story of the prequel trilogy as changes the feel of the rest of the series, truly making this Anakin Skywalker's story, from beginning to end. Plus, some of the characters from the prequel trilogy are my favorites like Qui-Gon Jinn, Count Dooku, and my favorite Star Wars villiain General Greivous. I even love Jar Jar Binks, which alot of people seem to dislike, I think he is an adorable character.

In short, I'm just curious. Why do people not like the prequel trilogy very much?

Anyways when did they get the idea to make 4-6...then 1-3?

Personally I enjoyed them. I think the reason for the hate is for one: they're drastically different from the originals. Two: (at least episode 1, maybe 2) they were more geared towards kids, thus making some parts a little corny. (I'm looking at you, jar-jar)

Though I'm not gonna lie episode 3 was amazing. It's easily my second favorite movie, next to return of the jedi.

I thought EP:3 was terrible....not too much action either.

Also I don't think EP2 was geared for kids, it had a sad/angry feeling toward it.

I don't mind the prequel trilogy. Revenge of the Sith was really good.

Why was it terrible? And not too much action? It had more action than any other starwars movie out there.

Episode I was more like a kid flick. Appealed to me once, now it doesn't. Episode II was one of those "sappy love stories." Episode III was the only one that was really good from the prequel. The other two I did not like.
