Hahah Supcom is the biggest flop of an RTS ever, I dont know how anyone could play that game, I have a dual core 3.2 GHz, 4GB ram, 8800 and the game freaking lagged like hell any time I played. I hate to imagine anyone actually playing that game.

I think the beta process is going just fine. If you're talking about the way Sega is "advertising" the game, though... *cringe*Originally Posted by Brainwashed
Really, Supcom lagged for your system K1ng.
haha, I barely had that many lag problems and I have an 8800 GTS 624MB, AMD ATHLON 5400+ and 4GB of DDR2 Ram ;/
I've been playing SupCom since the public beta and have had more fun than you can possibly imagine (or not).Originally Posted by K1ng
Thousands of people play SupCom. If your system is lagging while you tried to play it you must be doing something wrong or your computer isn't configured properly. I've got an Athlon64 X2 Dual core cpu and an Nvidia 7800 GTX and the game runs as smooth as silk. In short, SupCom is an excellent title, and Universe at War is broken (as it is now).
I completely agree with the opening post. If this game wants to see any sort of return on it's development costs and establish a decent fanbase, not to mention recieve more than mediocre reviews, it's release date MUST be pushed back at least 4 to 6 months so the gameplay and balance issues can be addressed. The promise of a patch that magically fixes not only the bugs but also all of the balancing issues is not very reassuring. The reason Supreme Commander is such an excellent game is that during the open beta test, which lasted SEVERAL months, Gas Powered Games not only worked on fixing bugs but the team also diligently address balance issues between the three races of the game, ensuring one race's weakness was compensated by a strength, and vice versa.
This game should not launch this month.
UaW has been bumped to January 2008.
I got into the first wave of beta :3
This is excellent news. Now all that needs to be done is to implement an easy (read: better) system of bug and balance reporting, other than these forums.
I can't even tell if the game works or not. The beta gaming seems dead nobody on here but me ;/
Only in Europe. North America release date is still the same: October 30.Originally Posted by Pirate Kitty

I hate to think I'd have to wait that much longer for the final game, but Sega will kill it's European fanbase if it releases the game elsewhere 3 months earlier.
Also, when are we gonna get that patch!? Most people aren't playing until you patch it, so it's incredibly dull for those who are still playing![]()
Game has been delayed for America as well. Desember tenth. is the new release date. as for the patch, the first two that where submitted had...problems... so they had to resubmit.
