hey guys after much messing around I managed to get it to work. see, you've got your profile, but you haven't linked it to the game yet. so when you create your profile, check around inside it (in-game) and then theres a button that says sign up for LIVE. if you've done that, click it anyway, but then close the window that appears and bring the beta back up. then, put the e-mail address and password in the space provided, it will link your LIVE to your in-game, and you can play! confusing I know, e-mail me at tibes530@gmail.com with questions.
