You can see the beam no matter where they are so your reapers can never hide. I think that's a bit unfair.

you see them even if they are not in your unit line of sight? :F because i cant see them if enemy has them somewhere
Most of the time the beam (and some other things) is visible under fow.
Fixed in patch.
