Default BSOD from demo on reboot ?

Can more comfirm that its this game demo giving a Blue Screen of Death, " error in non paged area " type ?.

The games adds a restore point witch i find a real worry & to me sugest the company was rdy for such an error ?.

You can go in safe mode & use that retore point & all seems ok but thats not to say its accptable.

Most poeple are probly taking there pcs to expensive shops to fix this & wont have there PC back for a few days, some like me have expience & hoply some have mates or secound pc to come find info.

Very suspect of this restore & not happy & do love the way the game looked & played.

Can we get an offical responce maybe & why also did the game make a restore point wile most dont bother ?

Edit add System info to be helpfull

    Win XP home
    All drivers upto date
    P4 2.6
    1 gig ram
    Geforce FX5900
    game theater xp
    plenty of free space

See thats the odd thing about it... not everyone has the same problems. My computer ran it fine. The only thing that made it crash was when I was changing a walker leg component during the middle of battle. From a plasma cannon to armor.

It ran fine for me from instalation to the "Go buy this game!" screen. Sorry I can't help, but it certainly isn't a universal issue.

Switching to desktop made the game go crazy, but besides that I found no bugs (besides the "Reapers mind control human squads" bug).

Of course a restore point is added; better safe than sorry.

I suspect it was this AGEIA PhysX driver that installed around the same time, nothing in UAW should be running at startup & iv not tested since & removed both.

I did try removing all that ageia tho with no luck before using the roll back, didnt think at all about uninstalling UAW till i saw the roll back.

What I felt was a bit odd was that this games making a restore point but that maybe the ms installer doing that, would have been nice tho to here offical reason on that.

No problems with the demo here, so no real help with issues you guys are having unfortunately However, the usual "universal fixes" that apply with almost all games apply here: defrag HD, make sure registry isn't being retarded, etc.
