Hey everyone. Ive noticed a few FAQs going around the Sega Boards, so I decided to make one here on the PSO boards relating to Account Issues (also, Im planning to make one for Connection Issues as well)
Also avaliable down below are links to multiple official Sega support sites. I strongly reccommend you go there when you need help.
Anyways, these are probably some FAQs, and you might want to check here to see if your question can be solved with this FAQ. Im going to update this alot, with newer Q's and A's, and will be perfecting it over time. (I might of even forgot to add a few FAQs here, or may be posting, waiting a bit, editing, waiting, editing...etc.) But if you have a reccommendation I will try my best to add it for you!

------------------------ACCOUNT ISSUES FAQ----------------
Q: Can I use my Hunters License account from Episode 1+2 with Episode 3?
A: Yes! When the screen pops up in Ep 3 asking for you to type in the Serial Key/Access Number found in the box, use the one in your Ep1+2 instead. Also, login with the same Username/Password at the billing site. You can also perform this visa versa if you got Episode 3 first.
Q: Can I use my account from a PSO game of another system?
A: Nope, sorry. You will need to create another account for the Gamecube versions of the PSO games
Q: I want to renew my account, but the Serial Key/Access Number isnt showing on the billing site! How do I renew?
A: It depends on what game you started your account with. If you created your account with Ep1+2, you must visit the PSO1+2 billing site. If created with Ep3, you go to the Ep3 billing site

Q: I accidentally entered the wrong sk/a#, and now have to pay twice. Can I re-enter my sk/a#?
A: Sadly enough, no you cannot. You will have to pay/manage two seperate accounts, one for each game. HOWEVER, if you so desire, you can delete one game's data (warning: all deleted data cannot be recovered) and then re-enter using the other games sk/a#.
Q: Can I cancel my account at any time?
A: Yes you can. However, you will need to still pay for the month that is finishing up. You will also be able to play during the remainder of the month. Once the new month starts you will no longer be charged and you can no longer play online. You can cancel your account by Going into Edit Account and clicking on your Serial Key/Access Number, and clicking Cancel Account
Q: How much is a Hunters License? Do I need to pay?
A: The fee for a Hunters License (online play) is $8.95 a month (US Dollars).
Q: I hear about this free month. If I am new to PSO3 (but still had a previous account) am I still eligable for the free month. (Basically, who gets the free month?)
A: The free month is only given to brand new members. If you already had a previous account from Episode 1+2, and use it again with Episode 3, you will not get the free month.
Q: What kind of billing method can I use to pay for my Hunters License?
A: You can use any credit card by Visa or Mastercard. Just look for the Visa or Mastercard logo on the credit card.
Q: For some reason my account just stopped (expired). How do I fix this?
A: You may have made a mistake with your billing info, or your Credit Card is either invalid or has expired. Check and make updates to your account (By going into Edit account at the PSO Billing site).
Q: I forgot the username/password to my Account and/or character. Is there any way I could retrieve it?
A: Yes. Go to the help section of the PSO Billing site. From there you can click on either "Forgot Account Login?" or "Forgot character password?"
