What time is the panel and where can I watch it if it is watchable?

Applause to the fanboys who spammed their inbox: it paid off and we have a known, but mediocre writer in the lead, and probably the only one again.
All what's left is to hope that he learned from the past mistakes, but that's just as unlikely as having ST do the same with Forces.

Of course Ian couldn't help himself, being the lifetime Sonic comic writer at this point.

If he even tries to replicate what he did at Archie the value of IDW Sonic's stories will automatically go down. Sorry.

Ian was by far the best writer Archie Sonic had, so it's good to see him back.

I generally hold that the setting itself was what held Archie back, not Ian. The Freedom Fighter angle was simply too constrictive for Sonic.
If you give a good idea to a mediocre team, they will screw it up. If you give a mediocre idea to a brilliant team, they will either fix it or throw it away and come up with something better...If you arenít experiencing failure, then you are making a far worse mistake: You are being driven by the desire to avoid it. -Ed Catmull,

There's a hunk of irony, right there; They're called Freedom Fighters, and yet they restricted Sonic from having personal freedom himself! It's like Batgirl giving Sonic a Speeding ticket for going fast.
Look, just get a copy a good game, and play it, and you'll be fine.
