Really don't like Ian Flynn being back he's a very bad story writer and even worse when he writes for Amy Rose, I was hoping there would be a new writer.

Peach / Girl Bomber: Tackle with a hip attack, but try not to miss.
Unikitty: Oh, he's stuck to my butt thank you!
Amy Rose: Ha! Dexter is just a guy I imagined. I wanted to make you jealous I don't need him now!

Well, we're not gonna get Cindy Robinson to write for Amy, like she does on Sonic Boom.
Look, just get a copy a good game, and play it, and you'll be fine.

When the bar is set very low to begin with it's not hard to make it to "Best Sonic Comic Writer" status. Like I said, Ian gets way too much credit for being a halfway decent writer at best.

Aww. They didn't mention Andy Price yet? I mean this guy worked at both DC and Marvel for crying out loud.
    Currently awaiting......Whatever.

I respectfully disagree. I found Ian's writing to be genuine enjoyable on it's own. Despite the mandates, he was able to work the characters in some of the best ways seen in the franchise overall. Not to mention his work on Megaman.

Yup. I think this was because how in order to keep the FF's around, the game characters had to more or less become a group of "soldiers" that fought for the generic goal of saving the world rather than being individuals who pursued their own goals and had their own lives like in the game verse.

Still, even with this limitation I say that (the reformed) Ian did well with what he had, which delivered better than the last few games, even when they apparently seem to actually try, like the case of Forces, and show why the game cast are likeable enough for each of them to have gained a following that persists despite the poor characterizations from some of the games.

But now that the previous setting seems to no longer be an issue, I do feel curious to see how Ian will handle the book. Given the changes the old Archie comic had over it's course, I believe that he can adapt.

Hopefully we'll have characters, and not mobile lifeless husks.
