PSOFB: Upcoming events! (Ep.3 Edition)

Hey there everyone, Jeffy here with all your PSOFB news. This is an event that Armion thought up, I hope lots of people come because it sounds like alot of fun:

"It's been a while since the last event. I think it's time for another, don't you? I had this small idea for an event for Episode III. A type of tournament, with set rules, where others can view and judge. However, the catch is not victory, but teamplay and performance. Teams sign up, and fight for a title. Not an official title, just bragging rights. To make things more interesting, rules have been based on the endurance set (modified for duration).

Battle Duration: 1 Hour (modified)
Phase Duration: 15 Seconds
CARDS Allowed: All
CARD Types: All
Min Roll: 3
Max Roll: 6
Dice Boost: Activated
Deck Shuffle: Activated
Deck Loop: Activated (modified)
Character HP: 35
Team HP: Defeat Team
Dialogue: Off
Dice Exchange: High Attack

This set almost guarantees to make players rely on their teammates, and adds the possibility for a longer battle.

Anyone can join. Judges will be the PSOFB staff (those with access to the game of course) and selected individuals.

They will be graded on;

Creativity
Strategy
Team Play
Behavior (Innocent taunting is fine, but insulting cost major points)
Adaptation

Teams will be eliminated by
Failing to show up during a specific round
Being caught in a coaching scheme
Abusive behavior
Disqualification
Low score at the end of a round

Depending on the number of entries, the number of rounds will be decided so no one has to fight a cpu.

Must have a teammate
Must register
Teamname must be appropiate. (Team name will be posted on the board)
Ability to play Episode III
Minimum 10 wins


Rewards
Bragging Rights. (I haven't devised a decent Champion Title as of yet.)

We also value any input you may have. You may ask any of the Forum Block officials, for extra information regarding the event or the Forum Block itself.

hmm about that dice minimal and maxium, boring.....1 should be the minimal, and if you can break the barrier put the maxium to 9 or at least 7.

The battle is more about how you defeat your foe, and how your teamplay and strategy work. It's possible to win the battle, but still lose the round of the tournament based on points. The reason for the different dice is to make the battles more interesting. Really isn't a good battle when the players drop before turn 5.

Dialogue off? Kind of interesting I suppose. We'd have to formulate secret codes for communication, or just know our plan in advance. I guess I might be interested if you guys ever set more definite information.

Dialouge off on means non user controlled characters cannot speak. You can still communicate as usual.

You won't have a CPU Lura saying "Break, I'm scared", but you will have the battler saying "It's over! Go my master strategy!"



(This event is still on the drawing board, and is in the process of being updated to be compatible with the current Revolution.
