    Default A request from a dial-up user

Will us dial-up user be able to download patch manually? I mean, Im on dial-up, but can I go to my dad's office, download the patch, and upload them in my PC? Thanks.

If its how the JP version works then no, sadly. All patching must be done within the client itself. But honestly the normal patches are not that big that it makes it overly hard for dialup users.

I was a dialup user for a little over a year, and I know how troublesome it can be to obtain large downloads, wether they be patches, music (yes, 5MB was big) movies (700MB xvid's were fun) etc etc.

My best advice for you, is that you patch the game overnight. If you're not allowed to keep the computer dialed in for long periods of time, you'll just have to go ahead and do it just once. Depending on the size of the patches, it may only take a few hours, and you could schedule your connection to disconnect after a certain period of time.

Offline patching may be available as well, I suppose. (Meaning a download patch, rather than a downloaded patch through the game client). If that happens, grab yourself a download manager and resume it every so often, and you'll get it eventually.

Best of luck when the time comes!
