I think in the japanese version is was 8 or 9. I doubt it though, cause thats not very large at all. I'v seen some large names before on past versions, so i wouldnt worry too much.
You always hear about those stories where a scientist makes a creature, which of course ends up in either killing the damn guy or the poor man dieing of fear...

Ever wonder...Does god stay in heaven 'cause he's afraid of what he's created?

Note that in japanese you can do a lot with 8 or 9 characters. For instance, most games that have name input in japan (like Dating sims or even SSB:M) give 4 characters of space, and 80%+ of the players can fit their name in there.

I've seen some long names in PSO before, so I assume RomanticDeath can fit.

On all the other PSO games it was 13, so I'm guessing it will be that again.

Its because Japanese games are usually focused around a double character name. Names like Naka and Barann take 2 and three individual character when in their hiragan forms,
なか and ばらん respectively. Japanese characters can now be used for names, however you'll need the Japanese IME installed to use them.
