Default Problems with Title Screen - "Analog" Glitch

I'm really confused about this. I have a high-end custom built computer that surpasses every requirement, the menus are fine...

But the menu highlighter selection is not. In fact, this is what consoles refer to as the "Analog Alignment Screwup" -- when the analog isn't properly placed in the center and it keeps moving upwards.

This is happening to my system, and I have no idea why it's doing this. My keyboard has nothing pressed, all other programs/games are working perfectly, but the menu in PSOBB moves upwards really quickly.

I had to play roulette just to be able to hit the update and hit the exit button. I've played with the fullscreen/window options, tried changing the resolution... nothing works.

EDITED: Unplugged all USB cords and devices one after another and it still kept going, so it's definitely not a device nor is it the mouse/keyboard. No analog controllers are connected to the system.

    Help if you can!

    EDITED: Problem solved.

Though my old Gravis controller's DRIVER (not the controller itself) was left on my computer from a long while back, it has never responded to any of my other games (FFXI, Tron, FPS games) associated with the controller. In fact, the controller itself hasn't touched my computer in about eight months. I'm kinda surprised the game knew it was there.

For some reason, it was displaying the game controller in my log file even though I haven't used that thing in months. Since I don't have that controller with me any more, I uninstalled all of my Gravis drivers and removed it from Device Manager. It works.

I don't have the controller with me, but I'll have to see if the latest driver works with it when I grab it in two weeks.
