    1) subject to individualism, the point of the guide is basic builds...for the most part, you have to admit most people don't have armor on the side of their quad-canon...though one canoneer that i believe is missing asher, is the gator canon...for it to be one of the more popular canon hound builds lately, it probably needs to make it's way on here at some point...

    2) i agree with shino here, the shinokart is neither what is on the parts list nor whats shown in the picture...

Thanks for the corrections guys. It is honestly and truly appreciated. It's hard to stay on top of all of the builds that are out there so for the most part I have to do a lot of guessing and estimating from videos. I'd thought that the gator cannon had for the most part left from gameplay due to it's long nose. Although thinking about the current recoil on the weapons, the gator would be one of the better equipped to handle it. Shinokart I haven't seen up until a freebattle last night with train. Quite impressive with the firepower. He was able to chew up several opponent's weapons and spit them out with little or no difficulty.

Kind of a nitpick but I do think it improves survivability a great deal. The pic of the Shino shows what looks like a Sal Kar to me but you listed the part as a Brooke. I for one have no idea why you wouldn't use a Dabbur. It rarely adds enough weight to make a sigificant speed difference and it typically takes more than one nasty hit to pop which can give you an invaluable second chance.

Generally speaking, I'd use a Brooke for a generatorless build or if it allowed greater net-weight savings in generator size. Otherwise, my speedy open-pits are always Dabburs. Brookes are a very useful 'pit but I see way too many of them on open-pitted wheelies that don't need them out there. A few hundred durability may not seem like much but between that, the low-profile and the superior KE/CE stats, I get a lot more second chances when I've got an open-pit Dabbur than I do an open-pit Brooke.

Also, you have to adjust your aim a touch but I like my strippers to have 3 launchers on either side of the pit. Gives the pit more coverage from nonsplash weapons and makes it less likely that you'll lose all your grenades to a single splash shot or to a grenading from another stripper, especially one who favors Mumtirs.

It doesn't seem that way from the stats but I'll bet the Faras is actually a faster set of wheels for the Shino. For some reason the speed drops faster as you add weight to the Hinas and they'll lose the speed contest the second you add a significant load to it.

The Shinokart still heads about 300 km/h, and packs enough firepower to disable up to 3 hounds. The farasha pit can take as much CE damage as a C110, which is why it is used.

Loki, if you look at the pic of the shino that Asher has above, it's not a Farasha on there like it should be. The parts list says Brooke and the pic look like a Sal Kar. Pherdnut, it's supposed to be a Farasha like Loki says.
