simply put: if you could choose one sniper build to keep you company for the rest of your life, what would it be?
i still need to get xXApplesauceXx to show me how to make his supposedly famous tread sniper, but for now, im going with my full wing

I don't know. I use different snipers in different situations.
I use a 5-Banger usually for smaller matches, and a Trigger for larger matches.
My favorite however? I'd have to stick with my heavy snipers (Trigger, Sabertooth, ect ect).

Just for interest can I have the specs on the wing sniper on Naqa's from someone?
For myself I find the big snipers too slow.
I'd either use my Lancelot sniper (4 Sc200's, radiator, 16 mins effect time) or the Avenger sniper (3 SC200s + 4 MG100's) which I like for taking out defences and allows me to kill a base if required too, or I have a design for a revised Avenger with better hidden and durable pit, 3 SC200's and 3 'nades.

I like my 5 banger on Naqas, though lately I've been transitioning into a Trigger. That ultra tight grouping on 4 Sabres is quite impressive.![]()

I presume by "Wing" they're refering to the 5-Banger.Originally Posted by Cobra N
The most efficient "wing" sniper on Naqas to date.
Start with the Naqa chassis (of course).
On top of that, I use an Isba spacer for the lighter weight (most people use a Tarakian Arm spacer at the sacrifice of not being able to fit a Thermal) turned on its side and the single joint extending behind the hound.
Attached to the tail end of the spacer, I use a light Sal Kar generator for weight convenience turned upside down (better pit protection).
On the inside of the generator, add a Tarakian Brooke.
System devices should be as follows:
Neumann Mobility
Ithnan Weapon Stability
RC1500 Stability
I use the heaviest Morskoj Radiator for the sake of efficient cooling attached to the end of the Isba. Make sure it is twisted right-side-up otherwise it will collide with either the guns or the chassis.
I also add a thermal sensor behind the pit turned horizontally. I refuse to run a sniper without one (most snipers agree that they are invaluable and worth the miniscule weight).
The weapon configuration is entirely customizable. For matches less than 4v4, I will use 5 Sabers (extended ammo). For anything 4v4 or larger, I'll use 3 SC200s and 2 Sabers (extended ammo).
Either way, setting up the weapons is as follows:
Attach the first sniper cannon (doesn't matter what it is) to the open side of the Brooke. Use your "X" button to adjust the gun so that it is positioned lower on the joint and covering the pit more efficiently (few people actually do this and leaves the bottom of the pit open for an experienced sniper to take advantage of). Use your directional pad to twist the barrell so that it is hugging close to the lower-inside of the hound to reduce recoil.
To the outter top of the first gun, add a second and twist it in an identical fashion.
To the outter top of that gun, add a third and twist it in an identical fashion.
On top of the first gun (so that it is actually between the first and second gun), add a fourth and turn it in an identical fashion.
On the outside of the last gun, add your fifth and turn it in an identical fashion.
Your weapon settings should be as follows:
Setting 1:
Sniper 3
Sniper 2
Sniper 1
Setting 2:
Sniper 5
Sniper 4
Setting 3:
Sniper 2
Sniper 1
Setting 4:
Sniper 4
There you have it.
Some sacrifice the thermal for a Tarakian Arm spacer and having a heavier generator, but I personally don't recommend this. You're better off with the Thermal, trust me.
My favorite sniper by far is the Sabretooth.
