Be ready for a difficult road ahead. As you have read the single player does not come close to doing this game justice.

The MP side of this game has no comparison. Once you get hooked...all other games will become a novelty.

Peruse the build sections for advice on how to build things and be patient. Gain money by playing the CPU to buy the more powerful parts. Find a training squad to get parts/money/builds and instruction.

    Above all else...Have Fun

If you can knock out all your single player with "S" rankings. May be irritating with a few levels, but the few parts you do get from the single player can come in handy. Once you get online please don't get discouraged by some of this communities "idiotic" players that will jump on you because you are new. Let it roll of your shoulder!

Hint: On single player Heavy Gunner missions, create and use a sniper. Points are calculated the same, for range and accuracy. But its way easier to get a "S".

There are alot of parts to use in the game, and eventually you will figure out what works for you best. But keep an open mind, especially once you get into a sqd. I know people that are beast with Nades, while I know others that are great snipers or with cannons. Once online you will see a huge variety of maps, and you will want to play all of them. Learn to be versatile with all roles and weapons. Your sqd may depend on that!

Also, you have propably noticed alot of posts talking about dialing, boosting, discoing, bridging, glitching, or stand-bying. Don't fall into those traps and when you do join a sqd, keep your integrity by leaving that sqd if your sqd leader does or asks you to do these things.

Discoing pretty much is where you play a match and as you notice that you are loosing you exit XBL into the dashboard to avoid loosing reknown.

Dialing is not cheatting, but it is however a rather aggrivating tactic used by some squads. It simply is remembering or having a written set of distances and coordinates on the map were as soon as the match starts you begin shelling the enemies HQ. This usually happens without ever seeing the enemy. Boom, you win! Boom, your name shows up on this forum as being blacklisted!

Ahh ok Discoing I shoulda figured out disconnecting and dialing sounds like a craptastic tactic .. kinda like a Artillery strike within the first 30 secs of the match >.< that would suck a big one..
