Thread: A Good Commander Build?

  1. #1

    Default A Good Commander Build?

I use the in verse chassis, sal-kar cpit, 4 multiple rocket launchers, and a medium NA maker. Do you think it is a good setup and does anyone have a better build?

never sacrifice more hound power than you have to to run a larger na - a stronger hound is ALWAYS more useful than an extra 200 range on your na.

Yeah Hogue, should know better bout posting that last one. Which happens to be also my favorite! I also have a tri-cannon, a DD Cmdr on spider legs, and biped huge NA w/ (can be set up) either four Nades or MG's. And one of my oldest cmdrs I used to get my wheels medal has small NA with five piles and NA inhibitor.
[Edit] also got that double single, pretty nice especially in city matches.

    For me

the important thing for a Commander Build
is the ability to avoid the enemy,
so that your Teams "eye in the sky" advantage lasts longer.

As Commander I use my speed to avoid the hot zones, keep the flow of info going and capture Combas.

A Scout / Commander if you like.

^ Anyone got a scout commander that runs faster than mine at 298 with some front shielding and 3 mgs able to kill a base? (does 304 if you can live without the front armour)

possibly... prolly not tho bc i run 4 mgs on mine. wheels, 6-joint spacer going back, rotor, gen, pit beneath, tinny na above, mgs (or whatever else you want) on top of the 6-joint in front of the na maker.

We use the "Tonka" mentioned above for this tactic. But usualy its a small na with 4 howies and a c110 pit on meads.
