I've been looking at the Sega-Sammy financial reports between 2016 and 2017 it seems like since releasing Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami the overall series sales jumped from around 9 mil to 10 mil. Considering Yakuza 6 was released in 2016 and sold around 400,000 copies, then the combined sales for Yakuza 0 and Kiwami in the West and by that I mean outside of Japan - probably amount to around 600,000 copies.

Interestingly enough there's a focus on Japanese culture outside of Japan being considered "cool" listed as an opportunity for Sega in the 2017 report. Could mean Persona 5 though.

So what are your thoughts on this? I guess it didn't sell that great after all, otherwise it would have been right next to Persona 5 which sold 1.7 million copies.
