I play Towards The Future because I like the quest. To me the experience is just a bonus really. If that's what you are primarily after then after a while it will seem a chore to do. There is a lot more to this quest than a lot of poeple realise.

You must be brainwashed... How can you just sit there just playing TTF over and over again? Seriously! You gotta try something else than just TTF! Try something like all the G-Counter quests in each difficulty? I managed to find 3 God/Arms and 3 Pds in 1 day through mines quests doing that. Who knows what you could find doing this?

C'mon! Haven't you even tried a number of other quests than just TTF? All I've seen are people playing "Towards the Future" in the information counter in the lobby! I'm really finding that annoying! I think you all gotta try something else. Don't just do the same quest over and over, it just ruins the whole fun of PSO...

    You make me sick...

Personally, I do think that TTF is played too much. Whenever I ask what quest the others in the party want to do, someone says TTF. There was a TTF-like quest on the GameCube version that was called Respective Tomorrow, which was TTF for Episode II. They should put that on PSOBB. At a high enough level, it's actually kind of fun.

you dont have to do TTF if you dont want to play the game that way. Anyone that does it is none of your business. Such things promote segregation. Live and let live.
Its not that simple. PSO is an ONLINE game. You play with other people, and what they do DOES effect your overall gameing experiance.

I feel segregated from half the population of PSO because I'd rather play the game instead of mindlessly leveling off the same quest.

The only reason I even concern myself with this is because it gets hard to find players who arent addicted to TTF...Of course we're ALL addicted to PSO in general. How else would it survive so long?

The only person I play PSO with is my friend Dular...on rare accounts, other people have joined, but not for long. Otherwise I just solo. I wish we never stumbled upon that quest...or at least not for a while anyway. I saw Dark Falz before I even knew of the principal's ruins quests. It completely spoiled it D=

EDIT: Maybe they should make the TTF quest only availible after principal quests. As you do the principal quests, it is clear that storyline wise the info and areas you are uncovering are not known to the principal, let alone the public. How could a VR simulation copy EXACTLY unknown bosses? =/

    great idea!

I'd like it if they made the bosses 50% experiance value. That would stop the runs real fast and still keep the quest available so that we can experaince its merits (going for rank, rare drops, love test, play as dragon)

Of course sega will NEVER do this. This is the sad thing about PSO. Whenever Everquest or WofWC had such an unbalanced thing in the game, they would fix it. If it werent for PSO kicking those games butts gameplay wise...

I don't think TTF is a bad thing, but I do prefer other means of progressing in level than just repeated runs of episode 1 bosses. The only time it becomes a bother for me is when players join my games and insist to play TTF. The more polite ones simply dissapear when I say no, or stick around to see what I plan to do (usually normal exp runs in the forest, cave, mine or ruins).

It can seem a little overdone sometimes, and a change is always welcome. Sometimes I feel like im the only one who does non-quest runs in the regular levels anymore.
