I didn't see a discussion for this so here it is. I'm pretty much a shoe in to buy this as I enjoyed the first one Battle Stations Midway. I do pity those with a PS3 as they don't get this one oddly enough.

In terms of single player, the campaigns are way better then in the first one. I feel the graphics are better and the game play seems to be a little more fluid. I think I just about completed the japanese campaign, and just got done taking over Midway, about to capture Hawaii. Changing history is fun! Haven't gone online yet though, so don't know about the play there.

Is the control of the ships any better than the first game?
I bought the first game and took it back a week later. I was disappointed because the game was far less intuitive then it should've been.
