What do you all think about the new chairman for Sega?

Is Sega going to continue making home video games? Is ESPN video games still alive? Will America see anymore games After ESPN baseball?
What do you all think?

I think everyone's blowing the news out of proportion.

Sega will continue to make home console games... there's too much money to be made in that market to ignore it.

Maybe we'll see some great new arcade ports though. That would be cool.

I hope you are right, but they stopped making consoles with Dreamcast.
Guess we will see in time.

yeah, i said they'd make home console games - not necessarily home consoles.

I was just stating the way they suddenly dropped out of the home console market, not that I thought you said the still made consoles. It was a surprise to me when they suddenly quit with Dreamcast, thats what I meant. I think they could have sold a lot more DC games if they kept making them.

I dont see anything major changing soon and to tell you the truth i think we will only miss out on a couple of games because they make arcade games. One reason i dont like Sammy is because they threaten to buy more SEGA shares if SEGA dont co-operate.

The fact that they kept these boards is a good sign we are not getting abandoned though

I wish SEGA would've merged with Namco a year ago when they had the chance...

i wished Sega merged with Nintendo when they had the chance, they would surely do very good on the console and games

I'm pretty worried too, not much we can do about it.
