[1/11/08] PSOBB Shutdown Update

As most board members know, the Free Period has started for PSO: Blue Burst. Any player who had an active (paid) subscription during the life of the product will be given free access until March 31, 2008. Following March 31st, the servers will close permanently, so this is you last chance to get in and play with your characters, kick it with the PSO Boomas, run some Challenge Mode, or claim victory over old Battle Mode rivals.

We also plan on upping the experience and drop rates for the duration of the free period. A maintenance to apply this change will occur on 1/17/08 at 11pm PST. The exact values have not been decided, but an update will be posted once the maintenance has been completed.

An exp/drop boost will be really nice. Are we talking about a 2 or 3 times boost, or is PSO really going out with a bang? I'd love to get a character to 200 before servers close. At any other time I'd really be adverse to a bonus so large that anybody could get to 200 because it would ruin the game, but let's face it, there's not going to be a game left to ruin.

It would be nice if Sega could fix the problems with Windows Vista compatibility on the 17th too

well im running vista and its just like running on xp lol oh you know what would be nice also is if you could boost the ammount or rare monster sightings and i cant wait man hopefully you guys really want to go out with a bang!

Well...it's been a good run. I'm hoping that the EXP and Drop Rates are boosted by at least 100% (2x) so that I can mess around in the desert and get a bundle of EXP. As for Drop Rates...not so concerned about unless my old friends also get on to help me hunt my old Treashuh!

no i just unistall direct x 10 and install direct x 9 c hehe and then i did the stupid stuff with regionals and all that its kinda complicate go to tech support and it is stickeyd
