    Default PsoBB.exe error

    Hi,
I've just recently found out about this server and that it was free. I've played PSO on DC and I'd love to play it again and online.
I've installed and made a Game ID, I've launched the game and all went fine until I reached the logging in screen where I couldn't type up anything. I closed it and tried launching it again couple of times, same thing happened. I looked up couple of solutions on this website and now I can't even run it anymore. It gives me this:

Can anyone suggest a suitable solution. I'll re-download the whole thing and install it, hopefully it should work.

Also, I've heard there were couple of problems regarding the connectivity to the server. Is it persistant?

    Thank you in advance

    Zalude

Hmmmm so you have never played PSOBB before? Unfortunately I am afraid you have missed the cutoff date to be able to play PSOBB for free. The free period is for anyone who had an active account at one time or another in the past.

so what happens now? I can't play at all? I read in a forum on onrpg.com that it was free and open for people to join. Isn't there any other way please?

    Thanks

Btw, everything is working now and all I need is a game ID which I can't seem to get, coz the website isn't working (link).

Sorry but like I said, it is only available to those who had an active account in the past. Here is the official Admins post about it and how it works:

So sorry If you enjoyed PSO you might want to give PSU a try.

Just to reiterate, the game is only available to players who had active accounts (paid). We don't control postings on third party websites, so I'd recommend taking issue with onrpg.com and their writers over this discrepancy.

In order to play online, you'll need to have a Game Id that has at one time had access to the full game under a paid account. If you register today and get a game id, you'll receive an error on login preventing further access.

If you want to take on more of the Phantasy Star game series, we recommend Phantasy Star Universe, which is also available for the PC platform. http://www.phantasystaruniverse.com.

Thank you very much for you answers.
I guess that PSU is Pay to Play right?

There wouldn't be a way to play it using my DC ID and serial ¬_¬ ?

    NVM, thanks for all.

How can I unsubscribe now? I can't find it.

Unsubscribe? By creating an ID, you have not set up any subscriptions for PSOBB. If you have entered credit card information for a PSU or managed to purchase a BB sub, you can find the 'cancel subscription' option immediately available after login into Playsega.com.

Since you stated you did not create a subscription to BB, I suspect this is not an issue. If you have further concerns, you can contact our support group using the Contact Us page within the http://psobb.com website.
