Default psu error... no number or anything

All right, when I run PSU on either
    A) Network Mode
    B) Story Mode
    C) Credits

I get an interesting error. Here's a screenshot of it...

...Any ideas on what's wrong? My best guess is my graphics card, but my dad won't believe me... I'm using a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200, not sure if that is better than a GeForce4 (minimum requirement) but it meets the VRAM requirement so... I dunno -.-

Someone please help me... I've never hated squares so much in my life.

Wrong board, go to the PC Technical one as it is there for a reason ¬¬.

ok... i've tried everything now and apparently by checking out gunbound online i found out i have a conflict. all antivirus and firewall programs have been uninstalled, as well as all spyware/adware scanners except spybot S & D, could that be the problem? does anyone have a list of programs that have been a problem in this?

Unfortunately, a lot of people are still having the problem, and can't figure out the process that's interfering with gameguard.

Check programs that can create a virtual drive, such as Alcohol 120%, or Daemon Tools. If that's not an option, don't feel too upset. You're not alone in this problem.

Start>Run>cmd>netstat -b if you want to monitor applications accessing the internet.
    PSO V1>V2>EPI&IIGC>BB>PSU.
