So today would be my 4th day owning this game. The first 2 days I played on xbox live no problem, Yesterday however I got home from work, tried logging into live, and upon selecting my character, it timed out.
The loading screen stayed on for about 3 minutes and it gave me an error mesage of "connection has timed out please try again later."
So I tried again, this time it wouldnt even let my select my character, now it says " server has sent an interrupt signal, disconnected from server." Or it gives me "you were disconnected from the server please try again later." I have been unable to see my character since then.
I tried calling sega, but they're automated help doesn't help wth 360 games. They said to call xbox, I called xbox they said PSU is to new and they can't help. They told me to call sega.so I wrote their technical support department an email but I haven't recieved a reply.
Anyone else have this problem or anyone have any tips on how to fix this?
Oh btw, I'm hooked up directly to my modem, and my NAT setting is "open"
I have the exact same problem, I can connect with every online game except this one. 1-800-4myxbox says it's a sega issue, they cannot help me. I called sega their automated help line says go online if the dozen options don't apply to released game(noteerhaps when releasing a game, give a game specific helpline, somewhere?).
If after 24-48 hours you will receive.................Da Nada!!! I will most likely return this game, I loved PSO, but if I cannot go online and play, and SEGA has no options for me. A shame my friends have no problems connecting, I just can't get online at all.
On the plus side a 2-3 second load time is very nice, the graphics for the characters could have been a lttle cleaner. But the voice chat features are what inspired me to take this online...........a shame I cannot get there, ah well.......I miss my dreamcast.
It won't let me log into live, help please.

erhaps when releasing a game, give a game specific helpline, somewhere?).
