New Square Enix News For GC & PS2

- Square Enix announced they have shipped 4 million copies of the hit PS2 action RPG Kingdom Hearts worldwide, here are the breakdown:

Japan - 1.23 million copies (March 28, 2002)
USA - 2.00 million copies (September 16, 2002)
Europe - 820,000 copies (November 15, 2002)

- RUMOR: Square Enix is planning to postpone the release of Final Fantasy XII from summer 2004 to sometimes in late 2004 to early 2005, because Dragon Quest VIII is closer to completion, and the game can be released ahead of FFXII in Japan.

- RUMOR: Square Enix is currently developing a "new" Final Fantasy title for GameCube, after the release of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles in last year.
