Personally double sabers weren't my favourite weapon as fighgunner, although I do like the 36k PA on it to destroy enemies :P.

Fixed. If all you want is a tag, normal usage of a double saber will hit 4 things all around you while the PA only hits 2 on the first combo (and then 3 and 3). The final throw of Gravity Dance with the launch is deadly.

Reminds me of the L80 Fighgunner I saw trying to kill Tengohgs with a double saber in that new party mission. The two of us on the other side of the map had to run over and kill them for him.

EDIT: These were level 45 Tengohgs.

Double sabers are amazing, and i carry 4 of them on me. That said, when the time comes the great thing about being a fighgunner is the ability to whip out the deathmakers/ beam vulcanics (jarbas!), and traps are always a bonus.

Its true that fighgunner is a hyrbid class and the weapons you carry should reflect that, but nonetheless, gravity dance is amazing, and tears up groups of enemies. Using twin pistols instead of a double saber against a larger group is crazy.

They are the speciality weapon of the fighgunner afterall.

I use everything situationally, If you've played with me, you know I use traps as a Protranser, even when I decide to keep my class as Fighgunner :P. I must say though, with my %'s, Double sabers do amazing damage for being a hybrid class.

Having 6 double sabers isn't really a bad thing. Having them all on your pallet at once is a bad thing. Fighgunner is the class that most noobs seem to flock to for some reason. (Probably cause its the most flashy class) But I'd rather have a noob fighgunner than a noob fortecher personally.
