I understand you are beefing up security. Is that why I am unable to access the patcher? I have listed what I have done to tweak and open ports.

Could it be that your techs are so busy blocking they are blocking new users from your game as well.

Might want to have them look into that. I have been trying for a whole day to access that patcher....see my details in Tech support.

Another user offered me a suggestion I hadn't thought of so I tried that too.

I strongly suspect your Gameguard application is rather overzealous, not only will it keep the cheats and hacks at bay, but ordinary users like me.

I am giving it another hour or two..and if I don't receive any guidance from someone in the official tech capacity....that account will be closed.

I have been playing online since 1995...I have NEVER had so many problems patching a new game. I have also been a beta tester for a few online games that are out there. So I am not inexperienced.

As to tech support, please be patient - there is no magical fix that can solve all problems for all users, so it does take a little while for everyone to help figure out what may be causing the problem.

Please go ahead and give us as much info as possible in your current thread at the tech support forum. Many of us are more than willing to help you, so the more info you can give us, the faster we can help narrow things down.
