What do you think about the remixed "Death Palace"?

MOTHER is a remix of Death Palace.

Rise or Fall was used in part of Trick Track in PSO.

I don't really like the Generation 2 version because its off by about a half step, that kinda thing just really bothers me. I like the Genesis version and the remix in PSU.

I was referring to Death Palace Iluvatar since it is quite obvious the OP meant that song but got the names confused.

I've never had the pleasure of playing the remake of PSII, so I'll have to go with MOTHER for Death Palace.

Yes, been playing on Japanesse, some names are scrambled, substitute "Rise or Fall" for "Death Palace" on the poll section, since my edit there went to oblivion.

I've never had the pleasure of playing the remake of PSII, so I'll have to go with MOTHER for Death Palace.

The previous versions have more of the "Legendary" factor in them, though you may hear the original resembling a ring tone nowadays, the generation 2 have a bit more tempo & variating melody than the original. you can hear the gen 2 version here http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwYSXgFusik

I think I would've preferred a straight beef-up of the original, the same way the Generation 2 version was but suitable for a major game and not just a budget Mega Drive improvement.

What we got was much like other PSO/PSU tracks - a new track altogether but borrowing a few seconds from an old game. Tricktrack, Crater (non-battle) and Temple (battle and non-battle) are all notable examples.
