Does anybody else think that Overworks should take back the Phantasy Star series. And also bring Streets of Rage into a new generation?
I do... I do so much...Valkyria Chronicles is great.

Sonic Team on the other hand.. has serious problems with making a serious story line. PSU and PSO are nice in their own ways but they are hardly masterpieces like the old Phantasy Star series. And instead of ruining a Sonic the Hedgehog game like they did with the Werehog in unleashed I'd much rather see the Sega beat um up comming out of Overworks, with a Neo Streets of Rage. 1-4 player beatum up extravaganza with split screen or Online play... Yes...

Ring in on this people what do you think? Wouldn't that be great?

Your Poll is made wrong. Should be an option for one or the other. They might be able to save Phantasy Star, but at this point they might fark it up even more.

P.S. People might know them better as AM1 or AM7.

Hah, boy are you saying that to the wrong guy. I pay closer attention than arguably I should because it's always been my favorite RPG series.

It doesn't really matter what time period it takes place in. Overworks had better story telling ability than Sonic Team has. Sonic Team is in general a mockery at telling a serious story. Which is evident by PSO itself, but further support to this is every Sonic Game thats ever actually had a story line. PSU was getting alittle better but it's still bogged down with silly story telling.

So no, I don't think I made the poll wrong. I don't want Sonic Team to EVER get in and make a streets of rage. They did an OKAY job since they started messing with Phantasy Star... But not a GOOD job. They just don't qualify for my high expectations for Phantasy Star. And as far as Streets of Rage goes, I'd never want them to have anything to do with that.

Games that you grew up with stay F ing awesome, because you can look back at them...

See, if a new street of rage did come out, everyone will have soooooo much expectations from it. just like Two Worlds, Fable 2, and Halo 3.

So even if the game comes out alright, we still call it the most shyty'es Game on planet earth.

Not because its a bad game, but mainly because we want it to blow us away like it did in the old days.

Think of it this way, Phantasy star series up to PSO, was a 1 player RPG, just like Final Fantasy.

So it makes it easier to tell a story because that's what they are making the game for.

That's what makes it harder, to make a good story.

Oh and BTW I still believe that even though the last few Sonic Games, has had alittle problems with gameplay, the story and Music for every Sonic game, has been great O.o

And so far, PSU has the best online Story, that any MMO has had in ages, it may start off abit slow. but When you learn the story completely.

and you start to tell your friends about. lol You will be talking about it for a good hour O.o sometimes longer, when you start to explain who everyone is.......

If you want a series to complain on bad story telling, that base's itself mainly on the story.

Believe me I think very little of Final Fantasy at this point. I didn't even like 9-12. And I'm sure 13 will be a big dissapointment to. And by the way when I was talking about PSU's story I was reffering to the single player offline mode. And I don't think the Online story is what "we" make it. Because it's still pretty much just a fixed story. People don't Role Play and when ever anyone tries they are looked at as weird. So there is no "What we make it."

I thought the characters and the plot was just ghastly in 9. 10 was a bit better but I hated Titus and when X-2 came out it lost all credibility. 12 I liked at first... But it became a drag.
